Dodge and his twin Splatter are Diesel 10's silly side-kicks. They plot and scheme, but are not really quite as tough as they would like to think they are.

- After his general release, he was reintroduced in 2011 as a promotional item that was given away at some stores with the purchase of two trains.
- The first prototype of Dodge features no nameplate and a light gray running board instead of a dark gray one.
- Unlike other characters available at the time, Dodge never received painted eyes.
- Dodge always had a cab ledge despite being available after 2002 when most other engines' cab ledges were removed. This also happened with Mike and Splatter.
- However, his cab ledge was given a slight update in late 2002 to remove the square piece that ran down the middle of most cab ledges. This also happened with Splatter.
